Recheck for Any Omissions! Points for Addressing the Amended Personal Information Protection Act Following Its Full-Scale Enforcement.
As the amended Personal Information Protection Act was fully enforced in April this year, businesses must be busy addressing the amendment by reviewing various operations and updating company websites, EC sites, handouts, etc.
There may be those who are concerned, after two months’ effort in addressing the amended Act following the full-scale enforcement, whether they have taken correct measures or whether their responses are sufficient with no omissions.
This seminar is open to everyone and designed to provide an opportunity to recheck the contents of the amendment, review what needs to be reviewed, and continue your business without anxiety.
The lecture will be given by Hiroyasu Kageshima, Attorney-at-Law, of Ushijima & Partners, who enjoyed high popularity in his pre-amendment seminars on “practical measures” held in July and October last year. There will be a Q&A session during the latter part of the seminar regarding “issues that have surfaced in the course of business operations” raised by the participants in advance.
