Many recent cases of misconduct and scandals resulted in a serious situation because, even though a whistleblowing system existed or in-house training was given, such system or training failed to function sufficiently. Such situation often results in the management, directors, etc., assuming liability for massive compensation, being forced to resign from their office and/or being charged with criminal liability. In this seminar, the lecturer explains, based on recent scandals, what kinds of problems can occur, what are the resulting responsibilities of the company and directors, what actions should be taken after the revelation of misconduct, and how to review the current systems for preventing scandals.
